Terms of Service

If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't create an account or otherwise use teamiii. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 13.

You must be at least 18 years old to create and hold a teamiii account. teamiii is not designed for use by anyone under 18 as an account holder.

An athlete under 18 may be the subject of an athlete profile on teamiii, but that profile must be created and managed by the athlete's parent or legal guardian, using the parent or guardian's own account. The minor athlete is never the account holder and is not a party to these Terms -- the adult who creates and manages the profile is responsible for it, including the accuracy of the information on it and compliance with these Terms.

By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older, and, if you are managing a profile on behalf of an athlete under 18, that you are that athlete's parent or legal guardian and have the authority to provide the information you add to the profile.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You can sign up and sign in with an email/password, or with "Sign in with Apple" or Google, depending on the platform.

"Your Content" means anything you (or, for a minor athlete's profile, the parent or guardian managing it) add to teamiii -- profile information, photos, videos, stats, trophies, messages, Opportunities listings, and anything else you upload or post.

You keep ownership of Your Content. By posting it on teamiii, you grant teamiii a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate teamiii and provide the features you use -- for example, showing your profile to visitors, or streaming a Film Room video you uploaded. This license ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except to the extent a copy needs to briefly persist as described in our Privacy Policy's Data Retention section.

You're responsible for Your Content and must have the right to post it. Don't post content that isn't yours, that violates someone else's privacy or rights, or that's unlawful, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate -- see Section 5.

Using teamiii, you agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity, age, or your relationship to an athlete whose profile you manage
• Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post false or misleading athletic, academic, or recruiting information
• Upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or violates their privacy
• Use teamiii to collect information about other users for purposes unrelated to teamiii (e.g., scraping)
• Attempt to circumvent teamiii's security, access controls, or rate limits
• Use teamiii for any unlawful purpose

You can report messages or content that violate these Terms, and we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate an account that violates them.

teamiii profiles are designed to be discoverable by coaches, clubs, and other users -- similar to a public profile page. Our Privacy Policy's "Public and Private Information" section explains exactly what's visible by default and what controls (private account, hide from search, academic visibility) are currently available. Please review it, especially if you're managing a profile for a minor athlete, before deciding what to include.

Opportunities listings (roster openings, guest-player availability, training, camps, coaching openings, and similar posts) are created by users, not teamiii. teamiii doesn't verify the accuracy of a listing or guarantee any outcome from posting or responding to one. You're responsible for the accuracy of any listing you post, and for exercising your own judgment -- including normal safety precautions -- when connecting with other users through Opportunities or messaging.

iii Pro is teamiii's optional paid subscription. On the web, subscriptions are billed through Stripe; in the iOS app, subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Pricing, billing cycle, and renewal terms are shown to you at the time of purchase.

Web subscriptions can be cancelled from your account settings and take effect at the end of the current billing period. iOS subscriptions are managed and cancelled through your Apple ID (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions), per Apple's standard subscription terms -- teamiii cannot cancel or refund an iOS subscription directly. See our Privacy Policy's Payments section for what payment information teamiii does and doesn't receive.

The teamiii name, logo, and the app/website itself (excluding Your Content) are owned by teamiii. Other than the license you grant us to Your Content, these Terms don't give you any rights to teamiii's own trademarks, branding, or software.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, misrepresents who holds it (including the age/guardian rule in Section 2), or otherwise misuses teamiii. Where reasonably possible, we'll try to give notice before doing so, but may act without notice if we believe it's necessary to protect teamiii or its users.

teamiii is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that teamiii will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure, and we don't guarantee any particular recruiting, athletic, or other outcome from using it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, teamiii disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, teamiii and its operators won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of teamiii, or for the content, conduct, or accuracy of information posted by other users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it can't be limited by law.

We may update these Terms as teamiii changes. We'll update the effective date at the top of this page when we do, and make a reasonable effort to let users know of significant changes inside the app or by email. Continuing to use teamiii after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
